BED & BREAKFAST
Our bed and breakfast guesthouses are located right on the Toucan Rescue Ranch property in beautiful San Isidro, Heredia–the coffee and flower capital of Costa Rica. The property was once a coffee plantation and is set against the backdrop of the rainforest of the Braulio Carrillo National Park.
You will find breathtaking views of San Jose as well as the mountains surrounding the Irazu volcano from the guesthouses. Near the creek that runs through the property we grow our own special coffee that is available in the guesthouses for your tasting pleasure!
As our guest, relax in a rocking chair on your wonderful veranda, identify birds, orchids and butterflies or just spend a few moments watching a spectacular hummingbird in action. You will find the setting inspiring and perfect for the soul.
If you are in the mood to sightsee, the Toucan Rescue Ranch is 10 minutes from the Braulio Carrillo National Park, there are hiking trails, Aerial tram, Canopy tours, Frog tours, River tours, Coffee and the wonderful Sibu chocolate tours, Poas or Irazu volcanos, Butterfly gardens, Lankaster Gardens or La Paz Waterfall Garden tour.
Each of our two guesthouses are set up with a queen sized bed, a bunk bed, and one free-standing twin bed for a maximum capacity of five persons. Each guesthouse has a comfortable living area with a small TV and video library, (shared) dining area with microwave, toaster oven and refrigerator, and a bathroom. The nightly rental for two people is $125 with each additional person at $15. This includes a tour of our rescued animals, and a large breakfast. The Ranch is only 35 minutes from the airport.
